Welcome to The Barcroft Medical practice

At the Barcroft Medical practice in Amesbury we take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.We run many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and a diabetes clinic.

We practice from purpose built premises, which are accessible by wheelchair. The practice extends over an approximate five-mile radius and provides a full range of general medical services to all age groups.

The Medical Centre is conveniently situated in the centre of Amesbury, with its own car park adjacent to the central car park and close to the bus station.

The practice is part of the Wiltshire PCT

It’s Your practice: A patient guide to GP services has been compiled by The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).

It’s Your practice has been produced as part of the RCGP’s aim to build stronger relationships between patients and their doctors and encourage the involvement and inclusion of patients in their own care.

The guide provides helpful information on all aspects of using GP services: from finding and choosing a practice and how to get the most out of a GP consultation to accessing health records and understanding patients’ rights and responsibilities. The differences in GP services across the four nations are highlighted too.
